E+R's engagement photos by trailbrook photography

Love is kind. Friendship is unconditional. Affection is contagious. All three I see in these intimate engagement photos by two of San Diego's über talented (and extremely nice) tag team photographers, Stan and Jeannette Liu of Trailbrook Photography. I thought I knew SD in and out, but I don't even recognize most of these backdrops -- awesome! Eileen + Ryan are getting married next February, and we are excited to be assisting in the design+invitations+coordination for this special day. I met with Eileen a few months ago, and she is one smart, super sweet, naturally gorgeous, and hard working bride. I have yet to meet Ryan, but have heard lots of great things about him. So far, the creative design ideas we've been bouncing off each other are right in tune with their personalities and overall vision, and I'm anxious to knock 'em all out already!

Here's a sneak peek of this beautiful couple's e-session. They make taking photos look so easy! Wait...do I spy a couple in scrubs?!

NEWS! Bellz & Whistlez welcomes Fro to the team

NEWS!! With the high demand for designed•styled•personalized weddings, the B&W team has decided to expand the team to get ready for the 2012 year! We will soon be on the hunt for more professionals who are interested in helping with events, but without further ado, we'd LOVE to welcome B&Ws newest member, Francis "Fro" Arenas.

Fro Arenas began his professional career in the defense industry as a technical writer for military aircraft systems. He currently works for the US Government managing maintenance manuals for military aircraft. Additionally, Fro is an active reservist with the US Coast Guard. He is pursuing a master's degree in Business Analysis and has aspirations to become certified as a Project Manager Professional and Business Analysis Professional. Fro is married to his beautiful wife Eunice and just recently became new parents to their first child, Mateo.

As a past wedding client, Fro not only demonstrated his comfort with event planning and logistics, but worked extremely well with meeting deadlines and working with vendors. He is a dedicated individual who is known to be punctual, assertive, and personable. With his ability to multi-task (career, reservist job, school, husband, and new dad!), military backbone, passion for fashion & style, and confidence, we are excited to bring different dynamic to B&W! This is a treat for all you grooms out there! Recently, Fro successfully shadowed the team at his first event -- the Atrero/Torres wedding.

V+Ms sweet+modern wedding in Hawaii {07.14.11}

So excited to share these beautiful images of Victor+Melissa by Marcia Campbell Photography. These were captured this past July 14, and the wedding was our first design+invitations+coordination event in Hawaii. Though I couldn't attend due to me having given birth, Cyril did an awesome job running the reception with V+M's 50+ guests and their great vendor team.

We were asked to help V+M about ten months prior and in the end, came up with a very intimate, modern, and sweet wedding. Though the landscape was that of the tropical Lanikuhonua Estate in Oahu, Hawaii, Melissa didn't see herself planning a traditional Hawaiian wedding reception. Instead, she envisioned her event with a modern and playful twist. From an illustrated logo of the two, to a clear tent decorated with Japanese lanterns, to the use of bamboo parasols, and burlap wrapped coffee bean favors, this small celebration consisting of close family and friends was exactly what she shared with me when we first met. Guests enjoyed an open bar, shave ice station, lovely buffet dinner, home made cake, a gorgeous Hawaiian sunset, and island reggae tunes. Just take a peek -- makes me feel like I was there.
